Auto Wheels Prime — Returns, Exchanges & Order Policy

We want you to feel confident when you order from Auto Wheels Prime. Please read the policy below before placing your order, especially if you’re buying wheels, tires, or a wheel & tire package.

Returns & Exchanges (General)

If you’re not fully satisfied, you can request a return, exchange, or refund within 30 days of delivery. To qualify, items must be in the same condition  which it was purchased and delivered.

Please call us first at (309) 408-0100 before returning anything. Returns sent without approval may be refused.

  • Return shipping is paid by the customer unless the wrong product was delivered.
  • We strongly recommend shipping insurance for the full value of your return.

If an item comes back used, mounted, damaged, altered, or missing packaging, we can’t issue a refund or exchange. In that case, we’ll send it back to you at your expense.

Important Fitment Reminder (Wheels)

Please test-fit your wheels on the vehicle before mounting tires. Once tires are mounted, the wheels are considered used and become non-returnable. A quick fit check saves time, money, and stress.

Wheel Returns & Exchanges

Wheels can only be returned or exchanged if they meet all of the conditions below:

  • Purchased within 30 days
  • No tires mounted (once mounted = non-returnable)
  • Returned in the original boxes
  • Include our return form before any credit is issued
  • Return shipping is paid by the customer unless the wrong product was delivered.

Why the restocking fee? We cover outbound shipping costs and pay our team to process and prepare orders.

Tire Returns & Exchanges

Tires may be returned only if they are unused, purchased within 30 days, and the manufacturer’s sticker/ID is still attached.

  • Return shipping is paid by the customer unless the wrong product was delivered.
  • We do not arrange pickups
  • Our return form must be included for any credit

Why the restocking fee? Tire returns create shipping and handling costs, and we also pay processing fees and labor to prepare orders.

Wheel & Tire Package Returns & Exchanges

Wheel and tire packages can only be returned if they have not been installed or used, are within 30 days, and the tire manufacturer ID sticker is still intact.

  • Return shipping is paid by the customer unless the wrong product was delivered.
  • We do not arrange pickups
  • Our return form must be included for any credit

Shipping Errors, Damage & Packaging Issues

If we shipped the wrong item or your order arrives with an issue, please contact us right away and we’ll help you fix it.

If damage happens during shipping or due to manufacturer packaging, we’ll work with you to find a replacement and reach a fair solution. Please keep the product and all packaging and be ready to share clear photos.

Order Cancellations

If you cancel after your order has been processed, a minimum $100 cancellation fee applies. (This does not apply to standard wheel & tire packages in the early stage before any work begins.)

If you request to cancel a wheel & tire package after it has been processed, mounted, balanced, prepared for shipping, or shipped, a minimum 20% processing/handling/restocking fee will apply.

When you make a payment to Auto Wheels Prime, you understand that some items are prepared as custom orders and may not be eligible for cancellation once work begins.

Why do we charge cancellation fees? Once an order is placed, we spend time and money on processing, paperwork, supplier coordination, payment fees, and shipping costs. Those costs don’t disappear even if the order is canceled.

Important: The policy still applies even if you need to cancel due to an accident, trade-in, theft, or personal reasons.

Changing an Order

If you request changes after your order has been processed, a minimum $100 change fee applies. Changes often require additional handling, paperwork, and supplier adjustments.

Fitment & Responsibility

Auto Wheels Prime is not responsible for local or federal laws related to vehicle height, width, tire coverage, or clearance. It’s your responsibility to check regulations before purchasing and installing aftermarket wheels or tires.

Some vehicles may need additional modifications for proper fitment, such as suspension changes, trimming, or spacers. If you’re unsure, contact us before ordering and we’ll help the best we can.

Because vehicle designs change over time, we can’t guarantee center cap fitment on some vehicles older than 10 years, especially trucks/SUVs with manual hubs or large hubs. In some cases, clearance can be achieved with spacers or minor cap modifications.

Load Rating Note (Trucks)

Some listed tires may have a lower load rating than factory specifications. For 3/4-ton and 1-ton trucks, we recommend a tire load rating of 125Q or higher. By purchasing, you take responsibility for selecting a tire that matches your vehicle’s needs.
